just thought i should post a poem for God ya?
Whenever i look upon your cross
the place where You suffered on calvary,
My heart is filled with heavy loss
for how You died for me.
You bore my sins, You bore my shame
the day you were hung up there.
The nails and hammers stung right through
but still You did it, bare.
But You never stayed dead and still,
You rose up victorious.
Cleansed my body, cleansed my blood
Now i thank you with my tears.
The blood of Jesus Christ now flows
through my once-tainted being.
The lamb of God, my salvation,
is up there and all-seeing.
He comforts me, He leads me on
in places that are dark and dreary.
He gives me strength, He gives me hope
to continue though i'm weary.
My God is awesome in my life
and i give it all to him.
May i shine like a candle-light
in this world now so dim.
