Hi! I just wanna give glory for what God has done during new year!
My parents went to Malaysia during new year's eve to visit my Grandmother. Then on new year's day, my dad and mom were driving on the south-north highway on their way back to Singapore at night. According to them, it was pitch dark! & it was a really hilly road. so they were driving up... down.. then up again. because it was dark & they were driving up a hill, they couldn't really see what was in front of them. & with the car light, all they could see was one car length in front of them so it didn't help much. :( yeah, so in front of them was a stationary car that was involved in a crash about 10 minutes before. (a mother & a son died in that accident) & when my parents saw the car, they had only a few seconds to react!
My dad's reaction was quite fast! (haha) ^^ He turned the wheel to the left & then to the right to avoid the car. That caused the car to spin one round! & they headed the drain. Thank God it was soft landing mom says :D It wasn't that serious at that time. They had some bruises. My mom and dad rushed out leaving everything behind including PASSPORT (-.- no passport = you nobody!) and hid behind a lorry that was about 40m away in case their car explodes. (the lorry was also involved in the previous accident.) Then i think my dad realised that they left the passports & all the important things behind, so he ran back to the car. My mom didn't have her specs on that time.. (cos of the strong impact of the crash, her specs flew to the back seat & she didn't have time to retrieve it) & because it was so dark, she could not see where my dad went. :\
She heard screeching sounds of a car spinning and crashing into something. So my mom got worried and screamed for dad. But no reply. Apparently, my dad was in aftershock, etc etc, that he fell down while going to the car. & he broke his arm because of that. :( it had nothing to do with the crash! :) thank God! then dad got up and ran back to my mom uttering really really sweet things. (privacy! ^^)
Two other cars also crashed my dad's car. & dad's car was all SMASHED. Then i think they waited for a little while when the police, medics, etc came.
YEAH. So i really wanna thank God for giving my dad fast reaction! if not, my dad would hit the car in front of him & then have to pay for all the damages!
I wanna thank God for protecting my parents & allowing them to land softly!
I wanna thank God for strengthening my parents' marriage because of this accident!
& I wanna thank God for everything la!!!! If He wasn't with my parents at that time, i could have lost them. ):
You people may think that its a bad thing that my dad got injured.. ok, its bad. but not all that bad! because if my dad didn't get injured, my parents would have to stay on the highway for like 10 hrs & have no free transport back!
&&& i believe all these happened because God wants to teach my parents smth! ^^
& the best thing is that my mom have been going around praising God and telling her testimony to relatives! She even said, 'its like God is telling us, its not time yet!'
so there must be more that God wants to do through them! & thank God for wanting to use them too!! :D:D PRAISE GOD FOR EVERYTHING! including my 3points for N
level! hahahahahaha~! Honour God & He will honour you! :D
