At first i was very demoralized by the growth of another cell group and i wished i could go over to their side. Now, i'm so grateful that i'm here with you loving people. Hi! I just wanna give glory for what God has done during new year!

My parents went to Malaysia during new year's eve to visit my Grandmother. Then on new year's day, my dad and mom were driving on the south-north highway on their way back to Singapore at night. According to them, it was pitch dark! & it was a really hilly road. so they were driving up... down.. then up again. because it was dark & they were driving up a hill, they couldn't really see what was in front of them. & with the car light, all they could see was one car length in front of them so it didn't help much. :( yeah, so in front of them was a stationary car that was involved in a crash about 10 minutes before. (a mother & a son died in that accident) & when my parents saw the car, they had only a few seconds to react!

My dad's reaction was quite fast! (haha) ^^ He turned the wheel to the left & then to the right to avoid the car. That caused the car to spin one round! & they headed the drain. Thank God it was soft landing mom says :D It wasn't that serious at that time. They had some bruises. My mom and dad rushed out leaving everything behind including PASSPORT (-.- no passport = you nobody!) and hid behind a lorry that was about 40m away in case their car explodes. (the lorry was also involved in the previous accident.) Then i think my dad realised that they left the passports & all the important things behind, so he ran back to the car. My mom didn't have her specs on that time.. (cos of the strong impact of the crash, her specs flew to the back seat & she didn't have time to retrieve it) & because it was so dark, she could not see where my dad went. :\

She heard screeching sounds of a car spinning and crashing into something. So my mom got worried and screamed for dad. But no reply. Apparently, my dad was in aftershock, etc etc, that he fell down while going to the car. & he broke his arm because of that. :( it had nothing to do with the crash! :) thank God! then dad got up and ran back to my mom uttering really really sweet things. (privacy! ^^)
Two other cars also crashed my dad's car. & dad's car was all SMASHED. Then i think they waited for a little while when the police, medics, etc came.

YEAH. So i really wanna thank God for giving my dad fast reaction! if not, my dad would hit the car in front of him & then have to pay for all the damages!
I wanna thank God for protecting my parents & allowing them to land softly!
I wanna thank God for strengthening my parents' marriage because of this accident!
& I wanna thank God for everything la!!!! If He wasn't with my parents at that time, i could have lost them. ):
You people may think that its a bad thing that my dad got injured.. ok, its bad. but not all that bad! because if my dad didn't get injured, my parents would have to stay on the highway for like 10 hrs & have no free transport back!
&&& i believe all these happened because God wants to teach my parents smth! ^^

& the best thing is that my mom have been going around praising God and telling her testimony to relatives! She even said, 'its like God is telling us, its not time yet!'
so there must be more that God wants to do through them! & thank God for wanting to use them too!! :D:D PRAISE GOD FOR EVERYTHING! including my 3points for N
level! hahahahahaha~! Honour God & He will honour you! :D

Let me tell you the reason for me to post in here so suddenly.

Okay i see the loser satan working within me now, and there's like this invisible rope that is hanging me right now.
As you guys know, i have 3 older brothers. The youngest one got into some trouble which is so depressing that i wish i can kill him, including now since he's sucha idiot.
So he got into a case, which requires him to attend courts, not him alone to experience it. But with my mom and I. He's currently under probation, working and attending voluntary work.
On a lighter note:He's a drunkard now and he smokes. He's rude. He seems kill-able.

I was sleeping so soundly today until my mom woke me up to answer a call from the police at the hospital. I was so shock that my brain cant seemed to understand a word. Okay i understand anyway.
My big brother met an accident on his bike, the police suspects him of drink driving. I dont know whether there will be fine or something. And if you dont know, my family is currently under financial crisis.

I was wondering why this happened to me despite after my 3rd brother's thing. So im now feeling wobbly and i dont know when will i stand up with you guys anymore. I'll be fasting and praying, you guys please dont give up no matter what alright.
satan have been letting negative thoughts run in me, and showed me how nice is it to backslide.

Alright guys, tmr is tuesday, which is also the start of the first training. It is going to be where we upgrade our skills to hurt the enemy even more and to bring glory to our commander Jesus. This is a spiritual battle, and we're all part of it. Keep each other in prayer, in contact, and do not let down your guard. For 1 Peter 5:8 says "Be self-controlled and alert. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour." In other words, he's sneaky! Keep yourself on high alert, and keep your tuesdays as well as thursdays free. Be warned that the enemy will attempt to make your tuesday's and thursdays the most *important* days of your life, but remember that he is the father of lies and fabricator of words. Do not listen to him and fall into his trap! Lets do this!

Please not only fast, but remeber to pray! i hope by doing this in groups, we'll be able to spur one another one on for our cell to reach the next level ya?

Remember that when u fast, u fast a MEAL, not a TIME allocation ok? so do set aside 1 meal for fasting. This would mean ur fasting time should go from something like 10a.m-3p.m, NOT 1p.m-6p.m, because the second time allocation will give u time to eat lunch and dinner at the same time. It doesnt matter how long you fast or how short u fast, its the matter of your heart ya? rem this is fasting n praying, not starving and praying. If u really do need to eat, go ahead! But before the ending of every fast n pray session, i would like u guys to call each other/meet up with each other to end the fasting n praying and give thanks to God =)

The reason why we're doing this is because this last 2 months are gonna be jam-packed with activities. This are some prayer pointers to get you started.

Like what i've been telling you all, adapted from bro liangzhi, don't doubt the ourselves, because the word of God alrd says that "i can do ALL THINGS through Christ who strengthens me!" everything is possible! don't ask yourself if you can or not, but instead ask God to make your heart willing to fast n pray for your friends and for God to continue to fuel your heart and to hear your heart's cry for your friends salvation! jiayou people! Again i would like to emphasize that this is not the confirmed schedule yet, as some of you may have activities on. Please do tell me asap =) THIS FAST N PRAYER WILL LAST UNTIL THE END OF THIS YEAR!

Got a testimony to share..haha. I shall cut it short, shan't be long-winded o.o

The night before my O'lvl History paper..i was studying like crazy. I was flustered bcoz whatever i read DIDN'T SEEM TO GO IN AT ALLLL!!!
What's worse, i mixed up all the points. Russia stuffs mix up with Germany stuffs..and i got all confused o.o

So before i went to sleep, i prayed to God and ask Him for wisdom and His Holy Spirit to guide me through the paper, that whatever i studied for i'll remember and that it'll be useful!
So that night....GUESS WHAT?!?!?!
I DREAMT OF ADOLF HITLER -.-

You may think that it's sucha random dream, like out of nowhere how come i dream of Hitler....but since i dreamt of it so the next morning before the paper, i focused on studying about Hitler Germany and stuffs........
and GUESS WHAT AGAIN????

Bingo! SBQ+2 out of the 3 EssayQuestions were on Germany and Adolf Hitler!!!!!!

Hey guys.. you know how i'm always saying the same'o things like "oh my week went badly" in prayer meeting and stuff? well, today was kinda the worst week ever? I mean i've had tougher weeks thn this, but today's was so bad that i really din feel like going to church at all. Honestly. If anything, this post should help you realise that leaders are not immune to spiritual attacks, but are more prone to it.
ANYWAY, this post is supposed to be a testimony, NOT a sad whiny post =D HAHA. okok..

Like i was saying, i woke up feeling sick and tired of everything (sounds so emo o.o), i was sick of people being unable to make it for church, sick of studying -_- sick of my circumstances..

you see have u ever felt so on-fire for God so much that it burns you whenever you see people critiscing him? have you ever been so passionate that you wanna make Him a part of your day EVERY minute EVERY second? Have you ever felt hurt when you see your friends say "no" before you even bring up the topic of church, simply because they know you'll ask them to church anyway? well, this is how i am. You see i am so passionate for God that it really burns me to see my friends walking away from Him, saying that God is not real and such, and ireally wanna talk to them more about it, but due to my circumstances i just cant! At this time of my life, throughout the year of 2008, sec4, i've been busy as a buzzing bee, so much so that i'm unable to really testify for God in my school, my oikos! Even during the o level's, im unable to meet up with people to disciple, to nurture and to grow them, and then watch them stay stagnant and eventually die off, and i see people who intially see interest in God, have that interest extinguished over time. It's just so sickening to me. And on sat morning, i guess the devil knew all that i was facing, this bitterness and anguish of being unable to unleash all i have for God. he began whispering to me deceit and lies, so much so that i just felt like giving up. he just kept saying over and over again things like, "why do u still go to church and are unable to show all you've got? people won't mind that you arent there, people still remain people when you're not there, its okay not to go, who needs you anyway?" and honestly he got through me. Felt utterly crushed. Still manged to bring myself to the bus stop and everything. So i started to play music. And here's what happens..

1) i on my bluetooth eye piece
2) i randomly play a song
3) it plays on this song called "im yours" by planet shakers which i never even knew i had

Seriously i din noe i even had such a song in my phone, never saw it before, never heard of it. The moment it started playing, i just began to listen so intently to the lyrics, i was desperate for God to rescue me. And i wasn't disappointed.

So no matter what the cost

that was the chorus, and thn God gently nudged me and told me "rem what you signed up for when u dedicated your life to me?" so i just began praying to Him for strength, to guide me etc etc.. I cried. yes yes strong men do cry. =) anw, imagine a idiot crying it a busstop, does that seem weird to u? hahha. but anw im so glad that God managed to get through to me, and during the sat prayermeeting at 3rd level, i played that song again n i complained to God " Father its not fair, i have so much to give you, so much inside of me, but i'm unable to show it coz of my circumstances now. i'm tired of all this and i want a breakthrough. i pledge my availability to you after all these commitments that i have in my studies so that i can help my friends and oikos". I felt so much better after letting that out, and i'm sure that God is there for me.

This is some clarification btw, when i said i was busy as a buzzing bee, it's not an excuse to be on fire for God. regardless of how busy i was i made time for God every single second that i could. But i couldn't give alot of time to people who really wanted to know God, all i could give, i gave, but it just wasn't enough some times, hence the frustration =)

i've been praying for my family nowadays.. hoping that God would touch their hearts & stuffs :) then on wednesday, when my mom just came back from England, i overheard my parents talking in the car. & my dad was sharing a testimony that goes like this!

my dad's colleague's father found out that he had heart disease last week. somemore, the father is superrrr fit! he often goes jogging and stuff. & still, he had that disease. my dad's colleague was superrr sad so my dad smsed her to comfort her. asking her to pray and stuff, cos she is also a christian! (btw, her dad is also a christian. but he doesn't go to church -.-)

SO.. during that week the dad went through operations and stuffs. when he was having those operations, they put him to sleep & he had many dreams. my dad said he said that he dreamt that Jesus brought him to a very nice place! :D with children playing and stuff.. it was very bright also. for a christian that doesn't go to church to say that, is a big deal. ._. he was very happy in the hospital, smiling and stuff! even though he had heart disease, he was happy :) cos he experienced God!

after all the operations, he was discharged alr. all these happened only less than a week! (him finding out that he has heart disease, operations, praying, dreams, healing, and discharge) :O! that was speedy recovery! even my dad thinks so! ^^

you see, my dad will only talk when he sees a need to. BASICALLY, he doesn't simply say things. so surely he was impacted that he had to tell my mom! :D God can touch ppl's hearts in many ways. & i'm sure my dad was touched. (even if he doesn't rly show it :P)

so well. i just wanna say, dun stop praying.. God sees your heart as you pray! and surely, if He sees that you're honest and faithful, He will definately answer your prayers! if it is according to His Will, that is. :) so jiayou ppl! continue to pray for your familiessss!

hey guys! testimony to share today! ehh, as today happens to be bio practical O level (which i dun take) i dun have to come to schl today. Okkkk fast forward. At about 4+, i got a call to go play basketball at bukitbatok CC. So being naturally fit and manly, the first thought was to cycle there. I braved storm and wind (actually drizzle only la) before arriving to the junction outside keming pri schl. As i was waiting for the pedestrain light to signal green, God suddenly gave me a vision that i was gonna fall, n told me to be careful. Being an excellent cyclist if i do say so myself, i naturally ignored that vision as God pulling a joke on me, after all, it was impossible =D or was it..? Anyhoo, i still took that lil precaution. 30 secs after i regarded God's vision as rubbish, i almost fell, and in a really dangerous position too. i almost fell in between 2 quickly-accelerating buses, and definitely would have been squashed if my quick agile jungle-catlike reflexes (yeah right who am i kidding, it was God), i would've been dead -_- seriously. so just wanna tell u guys, even though something seems very unlikely/improbable, (like such a manly man like myself falling), When God tells u smth and tells u to DO it, please DO it. or else u'd be in a very very tough spot. seirously guys. =) im lucky to be alive now.

HEYA!

im about to share was about my mission trip to CHINA! are you ready PEEPS? I CANT HEAR YOU? OO00o.......

Background-i am always trying very hard to find God in the things that i do and serve, but God keep playing hide and seek with me. ( it was because i was expecting something else but God show up in another way,yet i failed to realise it) .And at that point of time i really struggling whether my effort was worthwhile and was at the brink of giving up(AGAIN) and suddenly during discipleship, brother Rixiang ask me whether i would like to go for china mission trip, and i said yea. maybe i should give it a last try giving at least myself a chance and God a chance.

Before the china mission trip, i purposely didn't let my cellgroup and others know that im going to china mission trip until the very last min.(like the week before the mission trip)

However the news got out ( cause people that was going MT with me didn't know the reason why i dont wanna tell people that im not going to mission trip, so they blurted it all out)

Well, the fact that i don't want to let people know that im going to mission trip until the very last minute, because being an backslidden christian that got out of leadership, people are surely giving me the looks that "hey! why is this guy going to china mission trip? moreover its a leader kind of trip, is he right for that job anot? are you sure he's prepared for it?"

Although they didnt really say this infront of me, but the looks on their face says it all.

Frankly speaking, it was a big discouragement,but i was already too excited and ecstatic to be bothered about it because it was brother Rixiang that gave me this rare opportunity to go to this Mission trip. it dint really affect me much at first but it did later on in the trip.( i'll explain again)

During the trip i really learn to walk with God closely, like when i was afraid to approach a stranger, God used sister Diana and Weiyan to push me and help me along the way. God really do provide:like normally we see blessings like money, family togetherness. But for this case, it was group support, which is just what we need. God knows it all, and provided it along the way.

Through this group support, we learn to make full use of each others strengths, instead of picking on their weakness.

Weiyan- more of logic, sister Diana- process minded(step 1 first, then step two, then step three, on and on).

and thankfully through sister Diana,

God taught me the right way to improve my relationship with people, and with Him- i am that kind of person that likes to take shortcuts. as long as the final result seems ok, i'll tryin to take the shortest route. even if it means that i invent one, when i cant find one.

God also made conversations possible with the new found friends we made( its almost impossible to substain a conversation with a stranger for 30mins)

and we DID it in 4HOURS! amazing how it turned out to be when you really depend on God. Praise Him!

that's when i remembered how people looked down on me, how i was being unfair etc.(com'on, im human, we're used to think negative things even where there's whole lot of positive things that could encourage us yet we chose not to. like i said, im not perfect)

just then, POOF! GOD did something miraculous in my life again!(wanna know about it? WANNA? WANNA? you're just as excited as me,even though im the writer myself ._.")

background -everynight before we sleep. we were suppose to share about our day and what we learn. we did it all, and its time to sleep cause we're so drop dead tired.

that night was the most memorable night ever.

brother Rixiang suddenly told us to encourage each other from our left and right (it was not planned,and we went even further to encourage everyone instead), and through that encouragment one-one(face to face),God gave me new found strength and confidence to stand firm for Him.Gosh! no words can really explain how God really impacted me.

like when im down, God just came in and whoosh! and blew me away with His works in me. Praise God again!

and of cause through the encouragement, we learn to speak whats on our mind and appreciate them with our mouths (which is so un-singaporean, so it was a breakthrough for all of us to really speak our hearts out to encourage one another)

well, these are the testimonies that God gaved me through this amazing and wonderful mission trip and i Dare to challenge you guys out there! do not be determined by who people think you are, but be destined to who God thinks you are! have a little faith in yourself, and in God, cause look, He made a me a better man. and im sure He will to you, if you really let Him into your lives. and i really mean REALLY LET Him in. and really, as you can see when i was down, God gave me a situation to choose to work with Him,which i did (encouragement: like i said, its very un-singaporean to appreciate another verbally and you have to look at that person eyes somemore! im a shy boy too >< ), and through that He gaved me steel-like faith and confidence .that hey! i wasnt let our from God plan at all! and also dont bottle God up, because by doing that, we're limiting him, and we will not get the result because it is not God-given but man-given instead-LIKE what PD said, do mans way and get mans result. do Gods way and get Gods result;) ____________________ smexy LIBIN-zealot 1.2

hey ppl! i've been really hit by discouragements lately, everything seems to be weighing me down at times, but i'm just here to encourage all of us in zealot 1.2 yeah?

Hmm, i'm not sure about u guys, but im really tired of having our brother's n sister's having events that always crop up last min and stops them from fellowshiping with us as a whole cell =( so i'll ask all of u this question, how often to we pray for each other?

Like the recent sermon on revival said, revival starts with you! in nehemiah, he felt responsible for his ppl, he went back to cleanse himself and make himself holy to God, and he prayed! so are we doing these things? i'm sure all of us wanna see this cg grow, but are we doing anything about it?

When we know well ourselves that we're gonna have trouble ahead, do we even pray for ourselves? do we take for granted the fact that we think we can come every sat to worship God and therefore stop praying that nth will crop up? let me tell all of u, the devil will attack the moment u're not alert!

So just to sign off, please do be prayerful! pray for yourself, pray for each other, coz i'll always be =) i hope all of us can do the same too! Keep fasting n praying for your own problems! i cannot emphazise any further the power of fasting n praying!

Hey People! My first time posting on this amazing blog... and its to ask for money. HAHA. So anyway, the High court (Irv, Xuele) put me in charge of collecting money evry sat frm evryone in Z'1.2 for YI camp:D This saving plan fund thingy. You guys have to 'donate' into this fund (at LEAST $1) so that at the end of 11 weeks, those who dont have enough money to go for the camp, dont worry! The High court will take out money frm the fund and pay for you guys:) Isnt that great? So frm now onwards evrytime you see me coming towards you with a blue pouch, dont runaway. Lol. Rmb that the money you give will go back to you. So you're practically like, saving money for yrselves! :)) If i dont get yr share at the end of the day.. there will be consequences. Ahahaha just kidding. Make it easy for me, tho. The high court are the ones in-charge. You wanna complain, go after them. Hehe. Adding on to the post i wanna wish evryone ALL THE BEST in their exams or anything they're feeling stressed about! God is always with us, rmb to PRAY when you're feeling down or suddenly hysterical over whether you'll pass yr paper or not. (i've been getting a roller-coaster ride on my emotions these past few weeks -.-) You guys shld probably be feeling the same way. So, Jiayou guys! :)

Hey guys! short msg to all of you before i go for lunch.

Well im not sure how many of you felt that the topic ytd was good, but i sure did! I'm sure lots of us all face those great times of difficulty where everything seems hopeless! Coz i sure did, and everytime that happened, i'd shamelessly doubt God's existence. But i just want to let u guys noe, that doubting is completely in our human nature, and its plain natural to at first feel angry at God. But a word of warning, why are we angry at God for the things that doesn't go OUR way? haven't we heard that God's timing is always perfect?(reference to kenny's testimony) that everything He does goes according perfectly? I feel that all of us should really take the time to memorize what this whole sermon is about, because as the bible says, TROUBLE WILL COME! but take heart! because Jesus has already overcome the world!

Now i think all of us know what to do when we're lost and so hurt inside with no one to turn to! i think we should really memorize the 3 points of why we should look to the cross for hope! ( because it shows how God loved us so much, and still does now! because it shows that God still maintains control although chaos seems to evident! because it shows that God can turn what SEEMS bad to something compelete awesome!) So take heart 1.2! we can overcome the world just as Jesus did! Smth that really struck me ytd were these 2 things.
1st--> Jesus himself already went through every pain, both physical and emotion that can ever be felt by any human! Rem that He too was 100% man AND 100% God! so we know that Jesus can relate to exactly what we're going through too!
2nd--> God always has a good purpose for everything. Although it may SEEM to us that what He allowed to happen seems to bring no good, we must trust in Him and let Him work His amazing power in our weaknesses!

Tell you our story.
We wanted to surprise Libin by going to his house & celebrate his birthday.... so we QUIETLY look for his dumb house which is super confusing cos there were a lot of lobby 1, 2, 3, 4.. AND the area was super quiet. so we had to be super super quiet so that he won't hear us. finally we found the apartment! wooo! happy~* Irvin called Libs asking where he was. Said he was at home, GOOD! THEN found out, "NO LIGHTER HOW TO LIGHT THE CAKE?!?!?" So Debbie went to her aunt's house to grab a lighter (nearby only). MEANWHILE, Irvin fool around with his dumb brain'theory', trying to make "fire". (below)
Debbie came back with a lighter. yipee! so we got ready, **light candles, stands in front of Libin's house, make sure we can't be seen through Libin's house peep hole & get ready to sing** k, ready. ring the bell, no answer -.- SOOOOOO.. Peilin called Libin. (below)

hey guys! Firstly i would just like to thank God for working in my situation and of coz u guys for praying for me too! this is a testimony of how much ur prayers really helped.

Well, you guys know that when i posted the previous entry about my family problems, it was in the midst of a very chaotic argument right? that was the 2nd argument that had happened in 2 days now. The first one was btw my parents n my sister, the 2nd between my brother n my parents. It really brought me alot of pain and hurt, and i kept praying to God (aft the 1st argument) for him to intervene, but He never did... or did He?

Aft posting that entry on my family problems, i went to my room to pray, but before i even started, i realised that something was amiss. It was quiet, too quiet. I realised that the swearing had stopped n that everything was peaceful. Immediately worst case scenarios flew to my mind, but i went down to check. My brother was busy doing his own thing, and so was my mother, it was as though nothing happened! Shocked i went back upstairs n started to ask God "how could this happen so quickly?" thn God brought me back to the moment that i was in front of the computer, after i had posted the entry n had begun praying, aft lotsa u guys sent me sms prayers. He made me see that it was during that timespan did the argument cease, and i din even notice! I was too worried about what WOULD happen that i failed to see what HAD happened! That God had already worked a wonder in my situation! You see my brother isn't exactly someone who will keep his mouth shut if he's angry. He tends to carry on swearing until he is happy and THEN he'll shut up. But that night he just kept quiet aft a period of time. So its really so awesome that God had worked that miracle, esp during the time that my faith was the lowest, when the devil had alrd struck me down to such a low point. He brought me back up again! n so i wanna praise Him and thank Him for pulling off such an amazing miracle.

So guys, just to end off, i wanna encourage all of u who are facing spiritual issues, difficulties and problems. Never ever believe the lie that the devil forces you into thinking, that God is not hearing your pleads, coz He is! rem, God's answer is always on its way, and WILL COME in HIS time! not ours! So never lose faith but instead at the lowest points of your life, that's when u need to pray and look to Him for comfort all the more!

anw, pray for peilin, she has a broken/twisted/sprained ankle. I'm not sure which, but its causing her difficulty in moving! lets pray for her and have the faith to hold on to the promise of God, that He is a healer, a God that will heal 100%! Keep praying for her ppl!

hey guys.. =) its a lil chaotic at my house now so if my words seem funny.. too bad! (try to decipher it ahaha, theres always http://www.dictionary.com/ for u noobs who dunno wads the meanings of some words =X). er its currently 9:43pm n my brother is arguing with my parents abt some monetary issues, well to update u guys, ytd my mom n my sis ended up fighting too, and although u guys may not know it, now u do. ha. anw my mom was crying to me during dinner today at around 8.30. My dad wasn't home yet coz he smsed my mom saying he din want to come home to talk to my brother. My mom was complaining about why my brother has to spend so much on his relationship with his gf n everything, n apparently she smsed my bro's gf to clarify the issue. But there seems to have been some miscommunication, and now everyone is unhappy. so when my brother came home at around 9:07pm, he started swearing at my mom about how could she have smsed the gf, saying that it caused her to cry and everything, obviously my heart broke coz just ytd i had to listen to my mom get scolded by my sister n everything too. I mean its not fair, my mom has been doing everything for us and cleaning up after us, being there for us, cooking for us and here are the both of them simply biting back the hand that fed them (cheem right.. haha) ytd i was crying too, but today i rlly just broke down in my room coz my mom virtually cried to me saying "if i stay in this house any longer i'll go crazy, i have to leave". Well, lemme ask how u guys would feel if u heard that.. my dad is also struggling to support our increasing expenditure, and in addition he has a project in china that he is in charge off. When he goes to china for meetings, no one helps him with his work back in Singapore, so when he comes back all tired from the meetings, he has to work doubly hard to finish the pile of work. When he comes home, instead of enjoying quiet and peace, he has to deal with my sibling's (ocassionally me =P) nonsense. i've been crying to God but i'm still waiting for him to intervene, i know that the situation is gonna turn around but i really dun dare to belive what would happen if my parents both decide to backup n leave my siblings behind. sooo dis is just an update for u guys. goodness im crying as im typing this. =( HAHAHA okok =)

PRAYER POINTERS
-pray for my family to be a christian family that brings glory to God
-pray for my brother n sister to be more reasonable toward my parents
-pray for their relationship to be back on track
-pray for my siblings to realise that they are wrong and apologise to my parents

hey! my testimony is kinda a whole lump of God's message being squeezed together from the past few weeks, so apologies for the messy jumping ard kinda thing.

Firstly, i wanna thank God for his protection to be constantly around my family. My dad recently found a lump growing somewhere in his tummy area, if i'm not wrong its the pancreas of smth like that, and the doctor was worried it would be cancerous n such. At that point of time i was plainly devastated, i mean my dad is like any other dad, nagging n stuff, but he is really the person who helps me with my studies, brings home the bacon n such. just at the period of time my mom's ankle began to swell drastically n she couldn't even walk properly, the doctor simply said that she had inflamation or smth(like duh) n gave her some ointments; not that they helped. U must understand that my parents are kinda close to me and they are both christians, so as i see them struggle to work n provide for me n my siblings, yet having to deal with these physical problems, my heart broke. I asked my cg ppl to pray for them (thanks btw! i really really appreciate it!), and i too began praying for them, for healing n for strength as they continue serving in their own church. It wasn't after 2 weeks later did something happen. My dad had the lump removed n the doctor did a thorough scan before announcing that he was alright. I was obviously overjoyed n glad that God hears our pleas. My mom too experienced healing, although it is not complete healing, she did feel better, all praise to God and none to the lousy ointments!

next is one that is more of from me. My personal time with God has recently been rather dry because of the book i'm doing (jeremiah). i mean if u have read jeremiah before, u'd understand it when i say that it kinda shows only how israel sinned against God and how God is furious, sends jeremiah to warn israel of His wrath and everything. It kinda got boring. Chapter after chapter just seemed to drone on about how God is gonna send armies from everywhere to destroy israel. With my dry QT, my life too suffered, i lacked the proper food and spiritual supplements. I began praying for God to give me a new book to read n gain food, i basically PLEADED with Him. U see i did jeremiah because God told me to read it. And my life suffered for it -.- so i asked him to change the book. But he told me this, "continue reading it, persevere n u will realise why i have asked you to read this book. Don't let this be like isaiah."(there was a time God asked me to read isaiah but it was too boring-.- i gave up without consulting him btw =X) SOOO i continued against my better judgement, but its my judgement against God's, sooo yeah He wins. THEN i received a great breakthrough. As i prayed for the book of jeremiah to release the message that God wants me to clasp, i read up in jeremiah about God saying that our life has already been planned by him, but it CAN change based on our choices! i mean it doesn't really seem like much, but a question i was battling with was 'if God has already planned everything out, then he would've known what i would do', i dno if u understand what i was thinking, it was like whatever i do is already God's plan, so my choices wouldn't matter. But frm this book i realised that what God has in plan for me can change based on what i do.
Well, i'd just like to end with this verse 1 John 3:21-24

Dear friends, if our hearts do not condemn us, we have confidence before God and reveice from him anything we ask, because we obey his commandments and do what pleases him. And this is his command: to believe in the name of his Son, Jesus Christ, and to love one another as he commanded us. THose who obey his commands live in him, and he in them. hello :)
just a little testimony to encourage you all.. i was gonna take my social studies N level paper soon & i was really scared.. people in my class had alr started studying months ago, and i? HAVEN EVEN STARTED! ): only monday (25 aug) then i started mugging when wednesday (27 aug) was my SS paper! (if i'm not wrong) on monday, i went studying with irvin they all. we went to the library and studied a little. after that, ended up playing :x somemore, reach home quite late so felt tired and slept and didn't study!

then tuesday.. there was service 2 prayer meeting.. i wanted to honor God and i knew that without Him helping me in my ss paper, i'll confirm die! so i went and brought my notes to study there in case there was free time (:x) and i even fasted. i really hoped that God will see my desperate-ness and come to my rescue! T_T since 2007, my social studies results not that good. i even failed during my prelims and was super disappointed with myself.

i had a feeeling that globalisation would come out for essay since monday.. (and i didn't tell marcus cos i scared i wrong then he scold me -.- soooooo... i kept quiet. heh.. but thats out of the point) but well.. after pm, i went home, and i studied thoroughly on globalisation & read a bit of SriLanka cos i felt that just in case i was wrong about globalisation coming out, at least i knew a little of sri lanka. (its a textbook topic btw)

so.... the day came. i prayed before the paper andddd............. GUESS WHAT! globalisation really came out for the essay qn, and srilanka came out for the SBQ qn! :O coincidental is that?! i mean.. THAT CANNOT BE COINCIDENTAL OR LUCK OR FATE OR WHATEVER!! though i MAY NOT do very well (maybe cos of errors or what), but i promised God that even if i don't do well, i'll still praise Him!

so yup! thank God for alllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll He has done for me! thank God for irvin giving me globalisation & srilanka notes! thank God for making me have the feeling that globalisation will come out! thank God for creating me kiasu that i will read srilanka cos of my kiasu-ness! lol! yeah..

'If you honour God, He will honour you back', this statement helped me & i hope it'll help you too! whatever problems you are facing, whatever worries you have, lift it up to God! Trust Him & honour Him, and you'll see a ________________________(indescribable :x) miracle happen! :)

For me, fasting wasnt very impt and after i heard the sermon, I thought differently. Fasting is not something to do only when you have problems & you need God's help, but it'll help us put our focus on God. Also to let us experience becoming part of being more like little jesus-es :) More good things will come from God when we fast & pray!

Fasting.
I didn't know there were so many types of fasting-.-I only knew about the normal fast that is without food, only water. I didn't even know we were allowed to drink soup-.-
So I found Saturday's sermon very useful and enriching, because i do face problems with fasting:S
Like keep getting tempted by my friends to have recess with them(fooooooooooooood!). Fasting requires discipline and i admit i lack of it at times. Temptations do come when i'm fasting..thoughts i usually struggle with are ' Eh, don't eat you will have gastric one leh. Remember that time when you had gastric, the pain was so unbearable? You don't want to suffer that pain again right..so better not fast just go eat. It's okay one, God will understand. ' See how scheming Satan is? But there was once i fasted and hey..I DIDN'T GET ANY GASTRIC AT ALL AND I WASN'T EVEN FEELING HUNGRY!!!!! :D
So gastric shouldn't be an excuse for me not to fast anymore.

Well, I'm gonna start fasting and praying for breakthroughs in areas like studies, and even for my friends to come to know about God and also the parental issues i face. But patience is key, and i know that God will eventually answer me but it would be according to His perfect timing.

PEILIN:
I actually dont think that fasting is important for a christian./: And i realized that i only fast when someone reminds me or when there is something real bad happening. But now i see the importance of fasting.

YEETING:
Ive learnt that fasting is spiritual way to bring me closer to God. And also the different ways of fasting. Also learnt that fasting and praying and giving is the ultimate combination. (:

IRVIN:
sermon atmosphere wasn't very good, alot of talking + distractions, but on the other hand, SERMON ITSELF WAS AWESOME!

Xuele just shared about it during cg, coz our cell grp has been really going through some pretty rough patches, so its like *wow* God really wants to emphasise this thing to us, we rlly gotta do it! i'm so encouraged and even all the more anxious to start fasting n praying n STICK WITH IT. Although the sermon seems oddly familiar, i know that it came at the exact time where our cg needed it the most, and that even though it will start because of problems, i'll make sure i keep fasting n praying even when everything is going fine, coz i know that it is always good to show God how dedicated you are and how much u wan to grow closer to him. =)

thank God for this sermon. i find it really helpful & come timely. alot of things ive read it from the book 'Fasting'. & i agree that fasting breaks the spirit of heaviness in problems! first time going through so many problems in a positive thinking at this period of time. it's because with God's help! :) i really have the yearn for more! &for my indiv life, ive learnt to fast not only when there's problems! and BE PATIENCE !!!!!

Hello, here to tell you something that happened to me in the morning while I was on my way to school. (:
Wed morning it rained soooo heavily luh. I took the first bus to school as usual, but the rain did not stop.
While I was in the bus, I told God to make the rain smaller abit luh, so that everyone can go school un-wet . When the bus stopped at my school bus stop, the rain din get smaller. It got bigger instead. Then I was like, "Wah, thanks ah~"
Mood kinda spoiled luh, just because of that. Felt discouraged and stuff.
Then waited at the bus stop for awhile lor, see if the rain got get smaller anot.
No luck.
Then one of my sec2 friends came and shared her umbrella with me. So that was when I realised that God can work in many ways luh. Like, maybe He won't answer our prayers all the time the way we wanted it to be.. but..
Idk how to say it but I think you guys get my point yea? Cas pple always tell me that God works in many other ways. I didn't really believe it until it happened to me.
Yea. Haha.
Anyways, pray for me!
Not having a very good week.

Baptism form

GLORY TO GOD THAT MY BAPTISM FORM IS SIGNED! :D

At the end of July, I know that Baptism is drawing nearer.. I need to get the Form to get my parents sign asap! I was actually very determined to get it signed this time! although i know i can easily wait till im 21 years old to get baptise without my parents' consent! but it's different thing! WHY?

1. My parents dont decide for me, they might still not even agree by that age too.. but i get baptise because at the age, i can decide on my own.
I feel that there's no support from them at all..

2. I cant glorify God's name if im doing it MY WAY.
if i can get baptised right now,
it is God who answered my prayers, woo GLORY TO GOD!

yes! so i desperately wanted to get baptised before i reached 21yrs old :D
okay.. this time round, i started asking my parents on 5aug/6aug night.. they STRAIGHT AWAY reject me.. i was upset of course.. & turn to my room blablabla.. dont understand why i cant get baptised!! but yet i cant do anything but pray... the next morning as i have no school.. was studying at home, preparing for upcoming exams.. then halfway, i wanted to write letters to my parents.. i know i cant talk to them properly face to face about such sensitive issues one. i get emotionally affected easily if they reject again ): sooooo, wrote down why i wanted to get baptise so much now rather than to wait for 21 yrs old. i tell them honestly that i want their support too blablabla.. Then that same night, went for ldrs' meeting.. Halfway in the meeting, i recalled that i dint put the letter somewhere they can see!! I placed it in my drawer ._. So, i smsed my mum, telling her to read the letters that is meant for them(daddy&mummy) yah.. she never reply me.. i was very anxious. I dont know what are they thinking right then.. will they change their mind & let me get baptised already?? On the way home, I told siewling about it too. She was telling me sometimes parents act blur about such things.. Then when i went home, i saw the letters at the same place. like not touch at all leh. As my parents is already asleep, i went to checked if my mum received the sms that i've sent her during the meeting. She did received & read. But she just did not do anything about it? did not sign.. did not reply my letter.. I thought what siewling said was right. they act blur? like nothing happened? haha. i decided to place it somewhere RIGHT infront their bedroom door.. the next morning CONFIRM can see one. (cant act blur also.. :D) then the next morning, no school for me too.. i was still lazing around on bed. suddenly! i remembered the letters & stuffs. i jumped up and looked to my table.. see if they got replied anything back for me or even best, sign the paper already..!? i stretched my hand to my table to get the baptism form + letters(cos i put them together) then again, NOTHING! no signature ))))): sigh, at that moment i was getting impatient already ): i started to complain.. why i try this & that still cant get it sign.. I've tried to fast.. tried to pray hard.. tried to write letters.. tried to explain nicely to them why.. But they just simply return me the papers on my table.. i ALMOST wanted to CRUSH the paper, tear it up.. and gave up! ): But another side of me, still want to persist on. I tell myself not to act on impulse.
later sekali God answered my prayers the next day or when, then i dont have the papers to let them sign!! haha. this thought just came to me lah..

Then i went out to the living room.. My mum actually left a note for me! But again, it's the same reason that she told me when they rejected me in the first place. "that Baptism no need to rush!! you can get baptised when you are older... dont get baptised so early.. dont decide so early.." /: i understand why they said that.. After all, they have no bad intention.. they just feel that there isnt a NEED to get baptised NOW!

i thought there is really no hope already.. reject reject reject /:

But AMAZINGLY, that evening when my daddy came back from work. He asked, "You want to get baptise huh..? where's the form?" I was shocked & i dont know how to react.. I just nodded. then continue sitting at the computer table. He asked again. Im sure I dint heard anything wrong! I went to the room to get the form and pen. passed to my dad to sign. HE SIGNED! :D but with a warning still. /: that's why I shared to some people that my dad is still quite unhappy, but at least he signed! so have to continue praying that he will happily let me go baptised! plus they will come for my baptism!! im overjoyed, the form is signed! i went to the room telling Yingmei who is at that time at my house. i cant stand the joy inside me that i cried again. but this time round, cry out of JOY! I finally got it signed! hahaha.

God really helped me throughout the whole thing, even as i was being rejected. haha. like how He has calmed me when i almost crush/tear the paper.. imagine that afternoon, i really destroyed the paper, i really have no paper to let my dad signed that same evening leh!! thank God! :D

& God really showed me how important it is to just follow His time, not my time. & follow His way, not my way! taking every opportunity to glorify His name, rather than wait for a time when things can be done by my own ability. in my ability, God's power will not be seen! it is when i cant do it, God's power is shown up! :D I got this signature is something God has helped me! not what I've done to make my dad sign.. & God gave me the strength to persevere on. I've rejected many times to not get baptise yet. I get discouraged, really want to gave it all up. ask for 3 years already leh. this year itself get rejected a number of times too..(i believe your should understanding how discouraging it can be) plus when I know Im going to be rejected for this reasons before I even open my mouth & ask, yet still God gave me the courage to go ask my parents again & AGAIN & AGAIN! until this time round His time is HERE! this coming Sunday, IM GOING TO BE BAPTISED! :D Yes, Glory to God alone! :D:D so i encouraged all of your, for whatever reasons you know you might get rejected for, God is there to help, dont give up! His time is perfect! His ways is right! :D

the day before my mathP1 and geo paper, i was slacking ard, still in holiday mood.. :x then only started studying at 8pm or later (:x) around there. only then i started panicking. lol. x_x between geo and math, geo is a must to study! math, remember formular and practice. :\ so... studied geo first. study study study.. then lost track of time. when i look at the clock, it was 11 plus going to 12 alr, if i'm not wrong. and because i don't feel good sleeping near 1am, (confirm veh tired the next day), i only got to study a little bit for math, before clock strike 12 :x then went to bed.

so the next day, before math paper, i prayed to God.. asking Him to help me. i really like math, so i have high expectations when it comes to math. for geo, ss, fail also nvm one. i know i have to buck up for those subjects :x back to the story, i was praying. then i felt God (or issit myself, i dunno), reminding me of my quiet time the previous day. {i learnt that i shouldn't keep silent, but instead give glory and credit to God! i shouldn't keep quiet, or its like i'm keeping the credit for myself.} so then this thought came up, (again, i dunno if it was from myself or from God), that when i finish my paper, after God has blessed me , i have to share this with you all. :)

during the paper, God really helped me.. :D i did the paper smoothly and even had 45mins to check! :O one of the fastest i think. its great cos its very rare for me to be able to check for mistakes after math papers! o_o usually i would get stuck at a question then waste time trying to figure out what the question wants and stuff. yeah. & whilst checking, i saved a few marks! :b yeepee! praise God!!!!!! :))) God helped me even when i didn't deserve it ): i was slacking ard the previous day! o.x

My brother will be comin' church this Saturday cause...................................
National day = No tuition = Free = Can come!

Pray for me that I won't.........
1) Don't want to bring him along
2) Scared/fear is more than excitement cause I believe God wants my brother to go and blahblah y'know.
3) I won't fight/argue/scold each other with him at public place la? Cuz you know I will tend to fight with him.................hehehe.

The circumstance amid which you live determine your reputation, but the truth you believe determines your Character.
Reputation is what you are supposed to be but character is what you are.
Reputation is the photographs, but character is the face.

HEY GUYS!
ahaha.. service kinda spoke to me extremely well so i just felt that i hadda post smth. I found it sooo true coz recently i've been having difficulty, struggling to deal with integrity. (u guys should know la hor =D) and this sermon just came along and hit me smack in the face *BAM!* Gotta really praise God for always knowing what to feed me and what i need at the right time ^^ i think we gotta really take the application step and use it to our advantage, let the world see how christians really are! FULL OF INTEGRITY AND LOVE! Character-based and solid in Christ.. yeah, lets REFUSE TO BE PERSAUDED BY OTHERS! ^^ Even if it means to stand alone.. lets do it!

Hi guys! well, just smth to share abt today.. which is the 14th of july? yah. eh anw, today has been like, kinda up n down for me.. but still GOD SHOWED ME HIS LOVE AND MERCY! when i woke up i was feeling horrible. had to rush for the morning prayer meeting thing and my throat was like totally pain. You know the kind of feeling when u swallow but its pain/itchy/irritating? yeah i had one of those mornings. On the way to schl i was half running to get there on time, and i just listened to the song "healer" by planetshakers? yeah so i was just praying n praying n praying. When i got to the fitness corner i was still praying abt it, and yeah! healing! ^_^ didn feel anything anymore haha. WELL fast foward to lesson time, got rlly poor results for my tests.. and.. was feeling kinda stupid? (yeah like stella.. =X jkjk) thn i was like feeling disappointed for MY PARENTS for my results -.- during recess, or the first half of recess, i kept praying against this disappointment.. and was hit by more. o_O was kinda reminded of how close the prelims/ O's are.. soo i really just threw away everything outta my head n started really focusing on God. I stayed in my seat and prayed until i felt all these discouragements just leave me. From tt moment i felt God really just touching me and lifting up my head.. i felt totally re-energised and ready for anything that could come my way. (maybe not o levels o.o AHAHA) well, STILL WANNA THANK MY AMAZING FATHER WAAAAAAAY UP THERE! =D
